Lake Powell 25-year Historical Water Level Data

I've found it difficult to locate Lake Powell historical water level (elevation) data in a clean, minimal, easy-to-process format. I hope the data sets I've compiled and made available here will remedy that situation, and be of use to others.

The 25 years of historical data here was mostly (though not entirely) compiled over a long period from usbr.gov official pages, tables, and reports. It's undergone some basic sanity checks, but caveat downloador - it hasn't been vetted in line-by-line detail.

You are free to use, adapt, and build upon this data for any non-commercial, academic, or governmental purpose. Lake Powell monthly summary water levels

• Monthly sets currently each reflect a full 25 years (300 months) of history, 04/01/1997 - 03/31/2022
  ...and so each set includes 300 rows, plus a header row
• Mean/highest/lowest elevation data in all monthly summary data sets was computed programmatically, using data from the raw daily elevation sets
• Each month row has five columns: the month begin date (mm/dd/yyyy), then the starting level, mean level, highest level, and lowest level
• All elevations indicate feet above MSL (mean sea level)

Lake Powell daily water levels

• Daily data sets each reflect a full 25 years (~9120 days) of history, 04/01/1997 - 03/31/2022
  ...and so each set includes ~9120 rows, plus a header row
• Each row has two columns: date and daily recorded elevation (level)
• All elevations indicate feet above MSL (mean sea level)
